Coronado hadn't done well against Pebble Hills recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. As for Pebble Hills, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 15-12.
 Coincidentally, Coronado and Pebble Hills will both be playing Montwood the next time they take the field. The Spartans will head out to face the Rams at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Thunderbirds will  host them  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
