Even though the Adams City Eagles scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the DSST: Green Valley Ranch Raptors still came out on top. DSST: Green Valley Ranch took down the Eagles 72-56. Given DSST: Green Valley Ranch's advantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings  (they are ranked 77th, while the Eagles are ranked 200th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DSST: Green Valley Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jovonnie Babineaux, who  scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Shalom Abioye, who  scored 16 points.
 Defeat or not, Adams City got some senior leadership from  Jalen Mckinnies and  Savaughn Crooks.  Mckinnies  scored 13 points along with five  rebounds and three  blocks, while  Crooks.  scored 11 points. Mckinnies hasn't dropped below two  blocks for four straight games.  Xavier Copher was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points.
 DSST: Green Valley Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Adams City, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.
 DSST: Green Valley Ranch will  square off against the Wolves at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. One thing working in DSST: College View's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last nine matches. As for Adams City, they will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Skyview has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 15.
