The Pocola Indians can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Heavener 80-40 on the road. Pocola's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Heavener's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Canyon Ford, who scored four points.
Pocola pushed their record up to 14-0 with that win, which was their 11th straight on the road. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26 points. As for Heavener, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Pocola and Heavener will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Heavener focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Saturday. As for they, they will head out on the road to challenge Pocola at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pocola has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 658 points over their last nine games.
