The Rivercrest Rebels had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Bonham with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 45-29. The win was just what Rivercrest needed coming off of a 71-42 defeat in their prior contest.
Rivercrest can attribute much of their success to Anna Duvall, who scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Anna Jean, who scored 6 points along with 3 steals.
Rivercrest's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-10. As for Bonham, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Rivercrest will face off against Ford at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday. As for Bonham, they will head out on the road to face off against North Hopkins at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday.
