Bennett Eivens and Chase Akabogu king certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Eivens scored ten points, while Akabogu king scored six points along with five rebounds.
Vista Ridge's loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-26. As for Vandegrift, they are on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 22 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.
Vista Ridge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Round Rock at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Vista Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Friday. As for Vandegrift, they will head out on the road to take on Round Rock Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vandegrift will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Round Rock Westwood surely won't give up without a fight.
