Suburban - White recap October 22, 2013
Fort Osage added to the longest winning streak in Suburban - White this week by beating North Kansas City, 49-7. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Indians.
Raytown moved up to 99 from 125 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Bluejays were able to move up by beating Belton 45-21.
Thanks to the talents of Skylar Thompson and Ezra Vaoifi, Fort Osage has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Thompson is tops in the league in passing with 1,010 yards, while Vaoifi has rushed for 1,392 yards this season. Staley's Ryan Pierce leads the league in receiving yards with 208 on 21 catches.
The Falcons' Kahluna Bouchard is a mere 22 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Bouchard has rushed for 978 yards on 103 carries so far this year.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Staley takes on North Kansas City. Fred Bouchard's team is currently in second, while the Hornets are in third.
The Falcons took down Oak Park 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bouchard ran for 161 yards during the win.
