It was a good run, but the Block Bears unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 55-39 bruising from Delhi. Block has struggled against Delhi recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Delhi was led to victory by Jay Wright and Jimmy Spruill. Wright scored 18 points along with three steals, while Spruill scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Spruill has scored at least 25% of Delhi's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Dural, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Block now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Delhi, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Block will take on Tensas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Delhi, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Delhi Charter at 6:00 p.m. Delhi Charter is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
