Powell County added to the longest winning streak in 3A District 5 this week by beating Lewis County, 34-13. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Pirates.
Bourbon County's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dalton Pope threw for 202 and 3 touchdowns and Jaxson Hilander had 136 yards receiving. On the ground Brent Holman contributed 108 yards. Snoop Johnson helped Bourbon County's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 62 yards.
