Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin got a massive performance out of Keenan Ryans, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and four runs. Those three stolen bases gave Ryans a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Dietrich, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.

Meanwhile, Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Girard, falling 18-7.
Jacob Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Thaddeus Huya, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-5-1. As for Conneaut, their loss dropped their record down to 0-20.
