Avery is 10-0 against the Wildcats since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Avery Bulldogs will stay at home for another game and welcome the Bloomburg Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Avery was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 43-42 to the Bears. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Avery in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Bloomburg's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 17th straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Yantis, falling 87-19.
Avery's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-15. As for Bloomburg, their defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-19.
Everything came up roses for Avery against the Wildcats in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 78-39 victory. Does Avery have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
