The Elizabeth Minutemen stacked a fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Lincoln 52-22 on the road. With Elizabeth ahead 37-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Elizabeth's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dynasty Chandler, who dropped a triple-double on ten points, 18 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Chandler posted eight or more assists. Alexandra Koon was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Elizabeth has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Elizabeth on the road again on Saturday and play against Teaneck at 12:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Lincoln, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Dominic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
