Alma proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 19) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Glenn Bobcats. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.
Ethan Helinski was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. Clark Lux was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.
