LKY's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars  a   1-0 shutout. The  win was some much needed relief for the Saints as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

 The  victory  got LKY back to even at 5-5-1. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record  this season.
 LKY does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they are on the road again  on Saturday to play Bluegrass United at 12:00  p.m. Bluegrass United will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something Christian Educational Consortium surely won't give up without a fight.
