They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Jurupa Hills Spartans. For the Yellowjackets, this counts as revenge for the 14-5 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.
The team relied heavily on MALEAH JUAREZ, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. ALYSSA RAMIREZ also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
JUAREZ wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Colton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The Yellowjackets are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
