Despite the loss, Concord Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Aubrey Collison scored 20 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Collison has scored all season.
Diaya Armantrading was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds for Calvary Christian Academy. Armantrading has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Sadie Fournier, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Concord Christian Academy dropped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.6 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.
Concord Christian Academy will head out on the road to take on Chestertown Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
