The Coleville Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They were the victim of a tough 73-53 loss at the hands of Mineral County. Coleville was down 54-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mineral County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Stinson, who scored eight points along with ten assists and eight steals. It was the first time this season that Stinson posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of DeVayne Isom, who scored 15 points along with four steals.
Coleville's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Mineral County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coleville will stay at home for another game and welcome Virginia City at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. Virginia City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Mineral County, they will be playing at home against Sage Ridge at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
