SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) this week, Carolina Academy beat St. John's Christian Academy 62-28. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Bobcats.
King Academy's Alex Berry and Blake Sauls led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Berry has thrown for 1,028 yards this season, while Sauls has 20 catches for 432 yards. Caleb Hinzman from Greenwood Christian leads the league in rushing with 1,167 yards.
Price Carpenter of the the Knights is only 75 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Carpenter has rushed for 925 yards on 84 carries so far this year.
Carolina Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on the Cavaliers.
