Meanwhile, Lincoln County waltzed into their contest last Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 66-42 margin over Edmund Burke Academy. That looming 66-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lincoln County yet this season.
Abbeville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for Abbeville against Lincoln County in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 as the squad secured a 85-46 victory. With Abbeville ahead 48-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
