The Abbeville Panthers just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Lincoln County Red Devils at 5:15 p.m. on December 28th. Abbeville is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Even though Harlem scored an imposing 60 points on Wednesday, Abbeville still came out on top. Abbeville took their contest against Harlem 68-60.
Abbeville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Justin Rollinson, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The contest was Rollinson's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Darius Riley, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Lincoln County waltzed into their contest last Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 66-42 margin over Edmund Burke Academy. That looming 66-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Lincoln County yet this season.
Abbeville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lincoln County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for Abbeville against Lincoln County in their previous meeting back in December of 2021 as the squad secured a 85-46 victory. With Abbeville ahead 48-18 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
