The Hampton Christian Academy Warriors can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They breezed by Gateway Christian on the road to the tune of 66-28. Hampton Christian Academy's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Leading Hampton Christian Academy to victory were Jayla Crosby and Mikaela Lee. Crosby scored 29 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Lee dropped a triple-double on 24 points, 12 rebounds, and 21 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Crosby has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lexie Dennis, who scored seven points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Hampton Christian Academy's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-0. As for Gateway Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton Christian Academy will take on the Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Portsmouth Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Warriors are ranked 78th). As for Gateway Christian, they will head out on the road to take on the Vikings at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Broadwater Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
