It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mineral Point had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Lancaster Flying Arrows as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Pointers sure are getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Mineral Point never let Lancaster on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-22.
Maddy Kabat paced Mineral Point's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kabat got some help from Sophie Miller and her 19 assists. Kabat also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Tenleigh Bockhop, each putting up three.
