Dexter got themselves on the board against East Mountain on Tuesday, but East Mountain never followed suit. They didn't even let the Timberwolves on the board, marking their second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Alani Tarin and Jayda Flores made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Tarin tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Flores tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Tarin went 2-for-3 with two runs, while Flores got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kaylonie Nevarez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Jayci Sanders, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Dexter always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .792. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Mountain only posted an OBP of .100.

The win made it two in a row for Dexter and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for East Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Dexter has already played their next game, an 11-5 win against Tularosa on the 2nd. As for East Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 29-3 defeat against Ruidoso on the 2nd.
