The Cornerstone Christian Cougars stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Making Waves Academy 89-54 on the road. Cornerstone Christian is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 13 straight.
Cornerstone Christian was led to victory by AJ McCoy and Benjamin Lukacs. McCoy scored 16 points, while Lukacs scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Kamel Johnson, who scored nine points.
Cornerstone Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Making Waves Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.

Making Waves Academy will head out on the road to square off against Round Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Making Waves Academy is coming into the game with three straight losses on the road, meaning Round Valley will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
