They claimed a resounding 67-36 victory over Fellowship Christian at home. The victory was nothing new for Banks County as they're now sitting on four straight.
Reese Murphy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmie Chitwood, who scored seven points.
Banks County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Fellowship Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-4.
Banks County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Prince Avenue Christian at 4:00 p.m. on January 6th. Prince Avenue Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 347th, while Banks County is ranked 83rd). Fellowship Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Union County at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th.
