On Saturday, Shades Valley strolled past Dothan with points to spare, taking the game 51-34. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Shades Valley has managed all season.
Shades Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremy Chatman, who scored 19 points. The contest was Chatman's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Jeremiah Williams was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Shades Valley has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Dothan, their loss dropped their record down to 8-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shades Valley will face off against Center Point at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Center Point comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Dothan and Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Dothan likes a good challenge.
