Clairemont was the  59-51 winner over Morse when they last played one another  back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Clairemont Chieftains took  a  53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morse Tigers.

 Despite the loss, Clairemont still got an impressive performance from   Nate Powell, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with nine points and 12  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Powell a new career-high in  boards. Another player making a difference was  Jake Robbins, who  went 5 for 6  en route to 10  points.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morse to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jayren Sunico, who  posted 12 points.  Jamarion Hall was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 11  points and 12  rebounds.
Clairemont has  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record  this season. As for Morse,  the  win  got them back to even at 13-13.
 Looking ahead, Clairemont will challenge Kearny at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Kearny knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Clairemont likes a good challenge. As for Morse, they will square off against High Tech SD at 5:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Morse is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8  points per game  this season.
