Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McNairy Central). They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Biggersville Lions on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for McNairy Central and bumps their season record up to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Biggersville, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-13 record.

McNairy Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-7 win against Hardin County on the 14th. As for Biggersville, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-5 victory against Jumpertown on the 14th.
