Stanley County took the game and then some with a 59-0 win on Friday over St. Francis Indian. Stanley County have a history of success against St. Francis Indian, winning their last head-to-head 56-0.
The victory bumped Stanley County's record up to 4-2. St. Francis Indian are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Stanley County will look to defend their home turf next week against Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for St. Francis Indian, they will face off against Crow Creek. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
