First Baptist Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Calvary Christian Academy Lions by a score of 13-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 back in February.

Noah Boone made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. Boone was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Brendan Calderon and Mari Arneaud did most of the damage at the plate: Calderon went 2-for-4 with five RBI, while Arneaud scored three runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Robbie Levy, who scored a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

First Baptist Christian Academy's record is now 3-0. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

First Baptist Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Calvary Christian Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
