It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Cascade Christian Challengers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 34-24 victory over the Braves. Cascade Christian's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Ashton Moody was his usual excellent self, rushing for 158 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry, and also throwing for 149 yards and a touchdown. Moody really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Another reason for the win was Cascade Christian's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Banks' QB won't forget Moody anytime soon given Moody sacked him twice.
Banks' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kade Long, who threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Max Walker, who picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Cascade Christian has yet to lose a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.44 points. As for Banks, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-1.
Cascade Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Banks also has no future games currently scheduled.
