Meanwhile, Atkinson County waltzed into their game Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 63-34 victory over Jeff Davis. With that victory, Atkinson County brought their scoring average up to 50.7 points per game.
Atkinson County found their leader in underclassman Kamari Moore, who scored 21 points. The match was Moore's third in a row with at least ten points. Savanna Williams was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Livonia's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9. As for Atkinson County, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
