Rivercrest was handed a heart-breaking two-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Harrisburg on Friday. The Colts simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Hornets 54-20. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-14.
Jayden Young had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 99 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 46 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 66 yards. Jayden Ralph was another key player, throwing for 164 yards and four TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.

Despite the loss, Harrisburg still got an impressive performance from Grayson Harkey, who rushed for 61 yards and one score, and also caught one touchdown. The Hornets also got a significant boost from Jayvin Thompson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.
The win got Rivercrest back to even at 2-2. As for Harrisburg, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Rivercrest has already played their next game, a 48-38 victory against Newport on the 3rd. As for Harrisburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 44-14 win against Piggott on the 3rd.
