Archimedean was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Pinecrest Prep Crocs, falling 87-48. One positive for Archimedean, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pinecrest Prep was led to victory by Gabriel Guzman and Andy Garcia. Guzman dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists, while Garcia posted 19 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Guzman a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Darian Yglesias, who had 11 points.

Archimedean's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pinecrest Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Archimedean didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 101-9 loss against Mater Bay Academy on the 16th. As for Pinecrest Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-45 defeat against BridgePrep Village Green on the 16th.
