 Like Marianna, Cottondale also got a great game from a two-way player:  Julissa Harris. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Harris was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Paige Carter, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Cripes, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances.
 Marianna's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-7. As for Cottondale, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season.
