Central Woodstock never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Stonewall Jackson on Monday. They put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 11-1 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by seven runs or more this season.

Isaac Barb tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Central Woodstock is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-7 otherwise.

At the plate, Austin Hosaflook was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI. He has become a key player for Central Woodstock: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. Blake Kniceley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Central Woodstock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Central Woodstock moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Stonewall Jackson, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
