Coldwater waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the New Bremen Cardinals. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won ten contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Coldwater's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for New Bremen, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-9.

Coming up, Coldwater will host Van Wert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 2.7, the Cougars 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for New Bremen, they will be taking part in a tournament against Allen East at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
