Basketball Recap: NCSSM: Durham Comes Up Short

NCSSM: Durham played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Seaforth Hawks, falling 58-38. The Unicorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why NCSSM: Durham lost, don't look at Alex Caza. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nikhil Nanduri, who posted five points.

Even though they lost, NCSSM: Durham smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

NCSSM: Durham's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Seaforth, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

NCSSM: Durham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-49 win against Triangle Math & Science on the 9th. As for Seaforth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 75-28 victory against Graham on the 10th.
