Basketball Recap: Pine Grove Drops Highest Score of Season Against Corinth

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Grove). They walked away with a 74-65 victory over the Corinth Warriors on Saturday. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Pine Grove's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Corinth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Pine Grove will host Falkner at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 62.67 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Corinth, they will challenge Hardin County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
