The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the White House Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin-Simpson is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Franklin-Simpson pushed their score all the way to 61 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 62-61 to Warren East.
Meanwhile, White House waltzed into their contest Monday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Trousdale County by a score of 68-61. The score was all tied up 29-29 at the break, but White House was the better team in the second half.
White House's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dawson Carson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Louis Taylor, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for White House, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
