Sneads has gone a perfect 4-0 against Malone recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sneads Pirates will face off against the Malone Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Sneads is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Sneads lost 16-6 to Blountstown on Monday.

Skyleigh O'Connor and Isabella Williams stepped up to the plate in a big way. O'Connor scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Williams scored two runs and stole five bases while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in stolen bases.

Malone kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Cottonwood, falling 15-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Sneads' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Malone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Sneads took their victory against Malone when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 16-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sneads since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
