It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Caddo had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Depew Hornets to the tune of 61-14. The Bruins' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Caddo to victory were Cale Wigington and Bayler Black. Wigington rushed for 128 yards and four scores on only eight carries, while Black rushed for 145 yards and three TDs on only ten carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Black has posted since back in September. Another rusher making a difference was Noah Carvell, who rushed for 60 yards and one touchdown on only five carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Caddo was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 351 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 188 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
