Volleyball Recap: St. Stephen's Episcopal Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Sydney Gray and Katherine Oehler

St. Stephen's Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagle Pass Eagles.

St. Stephen's Episcopal's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Katherine Oehler, who had six digs and three aces, and Sydney Gray, who had nine digs and two aces.

St. Stephen's Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Eagle Pass, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, St. Stephen's Episcopal will take on Giddings in a tournament on Saturday. As for Eagle Pass, they will head out to challenge Crystal City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
