The Hale Eagles lost against the Alcona Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hale was outmatched by Alcona at home and fell 74-22. Hale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-11.
Alcona's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Collin Walker led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 9 steals. David Sharboneau was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Hale now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Alcona, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Hale will be playing in front of their home fans against Heston Academy at 7:20 p.m. on Monday. Alcona is on the road again on Monday and play against Posen at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th.
