Central won the last time they faced Southeast and things went their way on Friday too. The Central Blue Eagles blew past the Southeast Knights 74-46. Given the Blue Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Knights are ranked 466th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 12-7. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Southeast, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lincoln College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. As for Southeast, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
