Baseball Recap: Clear Fork Has No Trouble Against Pleasant

Clear Fork extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping them up to 4-3. They blew past the Pleasant Spartans 16-2. That 14-run margin sets a new team best for the Colts this season.

As for Pleasant, they now have a losing record of 1-2. They haven't had much luck with Clear Fork recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

For Pleasant's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Hall, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Coming up, Clear Fork will be playing in front of their home fans against Ashland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Colts 3.7, the Arrows 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pleasant, they will head out to challenge Elgin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
