George County is 9-1 against St. Martin since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Rebels will take on the Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. George County's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so St. Martin's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
George County's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They didn't even let West Jones on the board, marking the Rebels' second-straight 11-0 shutout. Considering the Rebels have won 13 games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Davis made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Jordyn Bradley and Aryana Dixon did most of the damage at the plate: Bradley went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run, while Dixon went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Bradley a new career-high. Kyleigh Howell also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
George County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Jones only posted a batting average of .118.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for St. Martin, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Biloxi last Thursday.
Like George County, St. Martin also got a great game from a two-way player: Massyah Thomas. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Thomas was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kinsley Bourdon, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Maggie Renfrow was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
St. Martin pushed their record up to 12-10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for George County, their record is now 19-6.
St. Martin's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. George County has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for St. Martin, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 strikeouts. Will George County keep running through batters, or will the Yellow Jackets buck the trend?
George County got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against St. Martin by a conclusive 14-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
