Abbey Feld spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up 14 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in nine consecutive pitching appearances.
At the plate, Taryn Winberg was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Millennium's record is now 10-15. As for Verrado, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
