The Keystone Wildcats waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Oberlin 74-43 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Grant Hartley was his usual excellent self, scoring 36 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Hartley is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Goran, who scored 13 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Oberlin's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Walter, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Walter has scored all season. Isaiah Jones-Smith was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Keystone pushed their record up to 8-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Oberlin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
