Scarlette Ruiz has led Douglas in blocks on the season and she led the team again on Friday. Ruiz posted four points in addition to five steals and four blocks. The effort marked the most blocks she has had since back in December of 2023. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.

Ruiz and Douglas won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tombstone on Saturday.
