Norwalk put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 60-49 victory over the South El Monte Eagles. The Lancers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Jesus Sanchez was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-10 en route to 16 points and eight rebounds. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was David Zazueta, who posted 12 points along with seven assists and five boards.

Norwalk smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Norwalk's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for South El Monte, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coming up, Norwalk will face off against Beckman at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for South El Monte, they will take on Schurr on Tuesday.
