The Georgetown G-Men won the last time they faced the Blanchester Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Georgetown walked away with a 49-42 victory over Blanchester. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Georgetown.
Georgetown found their leader in underclassman Gabrielle Ernst, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Emily Bertram was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Georgetown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Blanchester, they bumped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Georgetown will head out on the road to square off against Bethel-Tate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blanchester, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Clermont Northeastern at 7:30 p.m.
